Its grounds surround the Lucy F. Simms Continuing Education Center and provide a setting for sports, family visits and a short walking trail.

Check current city notices for reservations and seasonal facilities. The park’s sprayground opened in 2025 and follows its own operating schedule. The photograph shows an earlier entrance sign and play area, predating later improvements, rather than the complete current layout or a guarantee that water features operate year-round.
