Rancho San Rafael Regional Park offers a large green landscape on Reno's north side, with paths, open areas, and the Wilbur D.

May Arboretum within its grounds. The combination gives visitors options for a short garden walk or a longer outdoor break close to the city.
Choose an entrance near the area you want to explore and use the park map to judge distances. The arboretum's gravel paths can become muddy, and snow affects access. Special events and the May Museum have separate arrangements, so check current county information before planning around a particular experience.
