Rib Mountain State Park

Trails, rock formations and elevated views make it a distinctive stop for understanding central Wisconsin’s landscape.

Check current trail, road and observation-area notices before choosing a route. The photograph depicts the former quarry area within the park. Steep and rocky sections call for suitable footwear, and winter conditions can substantially change access. State park vehicle admission rules apply where required. The separately operated ski area has its own tickets, seasons and permitted routes.
