Riverfront Park opens part of the former Charleston Naval Base waterfront to public recreation in North Charleston.

Cooper River views, broad lawns, and mature trees create a setting for both quiet walks and larger community events. The aerial photograph records the park during an earlier Fourth of July festival.
Check current event and access notices before arriving, since festivals and private functions can change parking and available areas. Use public paths and respect neighboring historic properties and active facilities. The ordinary park visit does not include every nearby building or separately operated venue.
