Rosewood Park overlooks Lake Michigan from the former Rosenwald estate landscape in Highland Park.

Paths, mature planting and recreation space connect the upper park with Rosewood Beach below, with surviving estate features adding historical interest.
The photograph shows the actual Rosewood shoreline. Use the park district’s current map for access and parking, and check seasonal rules before planning a beach visit. Swimming, beach services and special programs have separate operating arrangements from a walk through the upper park. Respect ravine habitats and any closed routes. The adjoining beach and lake should be approached only through designated public access points.
Visitor details reviewed October 26, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
