Trails, picnic areas and the visitor center provide different ways to explore the site.
Check the state’s current directions, bridge status and trail notices before arriving. The photograph shows the actual historic river crossing in an earlier period, rather than a guarantee that it is open to cross. The visitor center and main recreation area have distinct access arrangements. Confirm the entrance you need and any seasonal opening before planning a museum stop, walk or river activity.
