Sara Mendez Park offers recreation and community activity space on Dune Street in Norwalk.

Formerly known as Orr Park, it combines everyday outdoor visits with organized neighborhood programs.
The photograph shows the signed park entrance during an earlier visit. Picnic tables, a community center and a seasonal splash area provide different ways to use the site, but staffed programs and water-play hours should be checked separately. Confirm the facilities you need through current city recreation information. Use designated entrances, respect neighboring homes and arrange any organized gathering through the appropriate municipal service.
