Schuyler Mansion State Historic Site preserves Philip Schuyler’s eighteenth-century brick home in Albany.

The house connects Revolutionary-era politics and family life with the wider social world of the Hudson Valley, including the labor of people enslaved by the household.
Interior access is by reservation under the state historic site’s current tour arrangements. Book ahead and check the program before traveling, rather than assuming you can enter on arrival. A guided visit offers context for the furnished rooms and the complicated history of the family, their visitors and the people who worked on the property.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
