Seymour Marine Discovery Center introduces visitors to marine science at the University of California, Santa Cruz’s coastal campus.

Exhibits, aquariums and the seaside setting connect research with the animals and habitats of Monterey Bay.
Check current admission and the schedule for talks or guided activities before arriving. Give yourself time to read the research interpretation and explore permitted outdoor areas as conditions allow. The surrounding campus includes working scientific facilities, so public access follows designated routes rather than extending to every building. Group visits and special programs can have separate booking requirements.
