Sprague’s Super Service preserves a distinctive Tudor Revival service station on the former Route 66 corridor in Normal.

The restored building now welcomes visitors through Ryburn Place, combining a historic roadside landmark with local visitor information and a gift shop.
The photograph shows the building during an earlier visit, before later restoration and the Route 66 centennial mural. Check the shop’s current opening and event information before arriving on East Pine Street. It is a preserved visitor destination, so do not expect fuel or vehicle servicing. Confirm group arrangements and respect the building’s public and private areas.
Visitor details reviewed October 25, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
