Surratt Historic Site and Museum preserves a nineteenth-century house and tavern in Clinton.

Its interpretation examines the property’s residents, labor history and connections with the events surrounding Abraham Lincoln’s assassination.
Check the park operator’s current opening and guided-tour arrangements before arrival. This is the Maryland historic property, distinct from the Surratt boarding house in Washington, D.C. The photograph shows the museum house during an earlier visit rather than its current exhibitions. Group tours and special programs may need separate reservations, and visitors should use the designated entrance and public areas.
