Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden
- Park
- Regional draw
- New Orleans
The Besthoff Sculpture Garden places an art collection within the landscape beside the New Orleans Museum of Art. Paths, water, and planting create changing settings for sculpture, making the visit an outdoor experience rather than an extension of a conventional indoor gallery.
Give the works space and view them from the designated paths. Check current garden access and visitor guidance, and distinguish the sculpture garden's arrangements from those of the neighbouring museum and botanical garden.
