The Met Cloisters presents medieval European art and architecture in Fort Tryon Park, overlooking the Hudson River.

Reassembled architectural spaces, collections and gardens create a distinctive museum setting in northern Manhattan.
Use the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s current Cloisters visitor page for opening, admission and access guidance. The photograph shows the museum from across the river rather than its visitor entrance. Gardens and galleries change with the seasons and exhibition work. This campus is geographically separate from The Met Fifth Avenue, so choose the correct destination and allow for the hillside approaches when planning travel.
