The Scarab Club combines an art gallery and creative community in Detroit’s cultural district.

Changing exhibitions, sketch sessions, music and talks connect a public visit with the city’s longstanding artistic life.
The photograph shows the club’s historic exterior during an earlier visit. Gallery access and ticketed or registered programs follow different arrangements, with some days available only by appointment. Check the current exhibition and events calendar before travelling, especially if you want to attend a performance or participate in a session. Private rentals can affect access, and group visits or accessibility requirements should be confirmed directly with the club.
