The Whaling Museum in Cold Spring Harbor explores Long Island’s maritime history through exhibitions and programs combining history, science and the arts.

Its gallery on Main Street provides a focused indoor stop in the harbor community.
Use the gallery address at 301 Main Street rather than the separate museum office address. The published autumn and winter schedule is Thursday through Sunday, with selected holiday and event exceptions. Confirm current admission and opening before travelling, particularly around special events that can change normal gallery access. The photograph shows the museum building. Group programs and ticketed activities have their own arrangements beyond an ordinary exhibition visit.
