Vermilionville interprets Acadian, Creole, and Native histories through a living-history village and cultural programming in Lafayette.

Historic and reconstructed buildings provide settings for exploring domestic life, work, music, and regional traditions. The photograph shows one house within the village rather than an ordinary residential neighborhood.
Use the museum entrance at 300 Fisher Road and check current admission and opening hours before arriving. Demonstrations, music, and food service depend on the program and are not guaranteed every day. Arrange group visits in advance and follow staff guidance inside historic structures and around collections.
