Wadsworth Falls State Park protects a wooded landscape and waterfalls between Middlefield and Middletown.

Trails connect visitors with the local geology, river scenery and shaded recreation areas.
Use the current state-park map to distinguish the Big Falls viewing area from designated swimming and picnic facilities elsewhere. Swimming and picnicking are prohibited at Big Falls, which is intended for short scenic visits. The photograph shows a waterfall, not a permitted bathing area or current flow. Check parking arrangements and trail conditions before choosing a route.
