Walnut Hill Park offers a landscaped setting west of downtown New Britain, with paths, established trees and elevated views.

Associated with Frederick Law Olmsted’s early landscape work, the park combines everyday recreation with a distinctive historic design.
Choose a walk using the city’s current park information, leaving time for the rose garden, overlooks and memorial landscape when accessible. Concerts and seasonal events can change the atmosphere around the band shell. The park is close to the New Britain Museum of American Art, but their visitor arrangements are separate.
