West Hills County Park protects wooded hills and open recreation areas in West Hills.

Its trail network introduces visitors to a quieter landscape in the western part of Suffolk County.
Use the current county map to choose a public trailhead and check permitted activities, parking and any temporary restrictions. Camping and organized group use have separate arrangements from a daytime walk. The photograph shows a signed approach near Mount Misery Road, rather than the whole trail system. Respect adjacent property and keep to authorized routes through the woodland.
