About North Boulder

North Boulder’s NoBo corridor brings apartments, artists’ studios and the library to Broadway and 13th Street. Uptown Broadway has flats, lofts and townhome layouts; SKIP buses run toward downtown and South Boulder. Wonderland Lake provides nearby trails, while the library at 4500 13th Street offers a local indoor destination with free parking.

Flats, lofts and townhomes

Uptown Broadway’s leasing office is at 4560 13th Street, suite 105. The community offers one- and two-bedroom homes in flat, loft and two-story townhome layouts.

The operator lists in-unit washers and dryers, central heat and air conditioning, and patios or balconies. Shared facilities include two courtyards, grills, a fitness center, a business center and an underground garage. Parking charges are listed separately in its fee disclosure.

Apartment fees beyond rent

Uptown Broadway’s published fee sheet lists parking at $45–$120 a month, utility administration at $5 a month and trash at $10 a month. Individual utility charges vary with use. It also lists a $500 unit security deposit, a $10 utility-account setup fee and a $10 final utility-bill fee.

For pets, the sheet lists a $300 deposit and $35 monthly pet rent. Other entries include $15 monthly master-policy premium dues and $9 monthly Rentistry. The disclosure describes potential fees that vary with lease terms and individual circumstances; these figures are not a single all-inclusive rent quote.

NoBo Library on 13th Street

NoBo Library is open at 4500 13th Street. Regular hours are 9 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday–Thursday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday and noon–5 p.m. Sunday. The district’s location page links meeting and study-room information and its events calendar.

Parking in the lot east of the library is free. Two Level 2 ChargePoint chargers are free for the first two hours, then cost $4 an hour. Charging requires the ChargePoint app. The library’s phone is 303-441-3100.

SKIP along Broadway

The SKIP bus follows Broadway from North Boulder through downtown toward South Boulder. It also stops on Broadway by the Wonderland Lake trailhead, so that entrance can be reached without using the trailhead parking lot. The route is a north–south connection rather than a service to every residential street.

RTD’s standard fare is $2.75 for a three-hour pass or $5.50 for a day pass. A standard monthly pass costs $88 and includes airport travel.

Wonderland Lake access

Wonderland Lake Trailhead is at 4201 North Broadway, west of the road between Sumac and Utica. It opens 5 a.m.–11 p.m., charges no entrance fee and has 19 standard parking spaces plus two accessible spaces. There are no restrooms at this trailhead.

Bikes are permitted on the Wonderland Lake Loop and Foothills trails, but not on Old Kiln or Hogback Ridge. Dogs require a hand-held leash in the Wonderland Lake area. The lake is not a swimming or boating destination: boats, flotation devices and wading are prohibited.

Studios and neighborhood art

NoBo First Friday is a free, self-guided event with participating studios and creative businesses, demonstrations and activities. The district’s calendar and location pages identify the participating spaces; an event listing does not mean every studio keeps daily public hours.

Local art destinations include the Bus Stop Gallery at 4895 Broadway, NoBo on the Corner at 4600 Broadway and the NoBo Art Center at 4929 Broadway, suite E. NoBo on the Corner hosts community programming and rotating exhibits. The Art Center also supports workshops and classes.

Distances are approximate. They are straight lines from the centre of North Boulder, not travel distances, and a home at the edge of the area can be noticeably closer to or farther from a school.
