Acorn Park preserves a small historic public landscape in downtown Silver Spring.

Its distinctive acorn-shaped gazebo and association with the spring that gave the community its name make it a brief heritage stop within the surrounding urban streets.
Use current Montgomery Parks information to identify the public approach and check any temporary notices. The photograph focuses on the gazebo rather than the entire park or permission to enter neighboring buildings. Respect the historic structure, landscaped areas and water features. A casual grounds visit is separate from any organized interpretation or special activity arranged by the operator.
