Anderson Museum of Art occupies the former Carnegie library in downtown Anderson.

Changing exhibitions bring visual art into a historic civic building, combining an interest in architecture with the work of artists and the local creative community.
Review the current exhibition list and gallery hours before arriving. Allow time to look closely at the works and the building’s details where accessible. Classes, receptions and organized tours have separate arrangements from an ordinary gallery visit. The photograph shows the building under its earlier Anderson Center for the Arts name; current programming uses the museum’s present name.
