Astoria Park
A Queens waterfront park with a running track and pool.
Astoria Park brings a riverfront landscape, running track and pool to western Queens. The park lies beside the East River, away from Astoria’s elevated subway corridor on 31st Street. The Hell Gate and Robert F. Kennedy bridges are prominent features of this part of the waterfront.
New York Road Runners uses the park for its community Open Run program. That organized running activity is one part of a larger public park, whose grounds also serve informal outdoor visits. The program operator maintains its own current participation information.
