Baytown Nature Center occupies a peninsula surrounded by bay waters, where trails and viewing areas connect visitors with coastal habitat.

Birds, marsh landscapes and open water create a distinct setting, with the nearby industrial shoreline also visible across parts of the view.
Check current admission, gate times and weather notices before arriving; severe conditions can affect access. Choose a trail or permitted water activity that suits your preparation, and bring binoculars for wildlife viewing if available. Programs and night walks follow separate schedules. Stay on designated routes and give feeding or resting birds space.
