Boiler Bay State Scenic Viewpoint offers an exposed rocky-coast panorama just north of Depoe Bay.
The small day-use setting is suited to a brief stop for ocean scenery rather than an extended beach outing.
Check current park notices before arrival. At the October 2026 review, restrooms were closed for repairs. Stay behind barriers and away from wave-washed rocks, and expect wind and limited visibility in poor weather. The photograph shows surf beyond the viewpoint fence rather than a safe route down to the water or guaranteed whale sightings.
