Box Springs Mountain Reserve
- Nature reserve
- Regional draw
- Moreno Valley
Box Springs Mountain Reserve protects an open mountain landscape overlooking Moreno Valley and Riverside.

Multi-use trails climb through terrain shaped by scrub habitat, grassland, and past wildfires, with broad views from higher routes. Its substantial elevation changes make this a more demanding outing than a typical city-park stroll.
Choose a trail and access point from the current reserve information, and check opening times and fees before traveling. Bring enough water and sun protection for exposed terrain. Stay on marked routes to protect recovering habitat, and allow time for the descent and return to your vehicle before closing.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
