Bradbury Science Museum explains the research and history of Los Alamos National Laboratory from a public museum in downtown Los Alamos.

Exhibits connect scientific work with the laboratory’s national-security role and broader research activities.
Check current visitor information for opening times and construction changes. The county’s October 2026 information notes bathroom work and an adjusted operating schedule beginning in June. Admission is free, but visiting the museum does not include entry to the laboratory’s restricted technical areas. The photograph shows the museum entrance rather than an operational research facility.
