Los Alamos History Museum introduces the community’s layered past through a museum campus in the historic district.

Interpretation connects the town’s earlier uses, the Manhattan Project period and later community life, with several nearby historic spaces forming part of the visit.
Begin with the historical society’s current visitor information to understand admission and the sites included. Guided walks and special experiences have their own schedules. The photograph shows the main historic museum building rather than every campus property. A museum visit does not provide access to restricted Los Alamos laboratory facilities.
