- Brookline
Brookline Reservoir Park surrounds a former drinking-water reservoir with a circular walking route and a historic gatehouse.

The water and low-lying setting provide a sense of separation from nearby streets while remaining within the town.
Follow the perimeter path and take time to notice the gatehouse and changing reflections across the water. Swimming and skating are not permitted. Check current notices before visiting, and follow fishing regulations if that is your purpose. Gatehouse interior access is separate from walking in the park, and maintenance may affect parts of the route.
