Cape Henry Lighthouse

The old Cape Henry Lighthouse introduces visitors to the history of navigation at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. Its brown masonry tower is distinct from the newer striped lighthouse nearby, making it important to identify the historic visitor attraction correctly.

Consult the operator's current access requirements before travelling because the site lies within a military installation. Check identification rules, visitor entry procedures, and climbing restrictions; seeing the tower does not guarantee access inside it.
