Thoroughgood House preserves an early eighteenth-century brick residence in Virginia Beach.

The house, garden, and education center introduce local colonial history and the community that developed around the property. Interpretation includes both the Thoroughgood family and the people whose labor supported the household.
Start with the education center and check current guided-tour times before traveling to Parish Road. Interior access follows the museum schedule, while special focus tours and group programs may require advance arrangements. Respect the historic materials and confirm mobility access for the rooms and paths you intend to explore.
