Catfish Row Art Park in downtown Vicksburg combines children’s creative work and play areas with interpretation of Mississippi River life.

Its garden spaces and river-related features provide a more informal companion to the city’s indoor history museums.
The photograph shows part of the park. Check current city notices for play-equipment repairs and seasonal splash-fountain operation before promising a particular activity. Supervise children and use designated public routes. The nearby river and working transport areas have separate access restrictions; an art-park visit does not provide safe access to every waterfront edge.
