Old Court House Museum in Vicksburg occupies the former Warren County courthouse on a prominent hill.

Local objects, Civil War material and the surviving civic architecture connect the building with the city’s complex history of power, conflict and community life.
Check current admission and public days before arriving; the operator presently lists Sundays as temporarily closed. The photograph shows the courthouse. Upper-floor rooms and historic stairs can affect mobility, so discuss access needs beforehand. Group tours require separate arrangements, and interpretation should be considered within the wider histories of slavery and Reconstruction.
