Cheyenne Depot Museum occupies the historic Union Pacific passenger depot at the south end of Capitol Avenue.

Its exhibits connect the city’s growth with railway engineering, transport and the people who worked on the railroad.
Check current museum hours and admission before arriving. The black-and-white photograph is an archival view of the depot, rather than a current streetscape. Allow time to appreciate the sandstone architecture alongside the exhibits. Steam-shop tours, Depot Days and other railway events have separate dates and booking arrangements from an ordinary museum visit.
