Chino Hills State Park protects rolling grasslands, wooded canyons, and open hills across a large Southern California landscape.

Its trails offer a more extensive outdoor experience than the surrounding city parks. The park spans several communities; the Chino Hills visitor approach provides a useful starting point for planning an outing.
Check current alerts and choose the appropriate entrance before traveling, since access points serve different routes. The park closes earlier in autumn and winter, and weather or fire conditions can restrict trails. Carry water, expect exposed terrain, and follow the park's restrictions on dogs, trail use, and sensitive habitat.
