Norfolk's Chrysler Museum brings a substantial art collection to the edge of downtown and Ghent. The museum grew significantly through Walter P. Chrysler Jr.'s gift, giving the city a cultural destination quite separate from the better-known maritime waterfront.

Review the current exhibitions and choose collections that interest you most. Check the museum's visitor information and any separately scheduled glass or educational programs rather than assuming every activity follows the same arrangements as gallery access.
