Town Point Park provides open public space beside the Elizabeth River in downtown Norfolk.

Waterfront paths, lawns, and memorial elements support a quiet walk, while the park also hosts major festivals and performances. Its ordinary atmosphere can differ considerably from the setting during a ticketed event.
Check the current Festevents calendar and park access notices before arriving. Festivals can change parking, entrances, and available public areas, and some require tickets. Use designated routes, respect memorials and private functions, and confirm any boat, food, or performance arrangements separately from a general waterfront visit.
