Clark County Wetlands Park protects a wetland landscape along Las Vegas Wash near Whitney.

Trails, habitat-viewing areas and nature interpretation offer an outdoor destination that reveals a different side of the Las Vegas Valley.
The photograph shows the wash during an earlier visit. Choose an entrance using current county maps and check construction and trail-closure notices before setting out. Sewer works affect access in parts of the park, and the Wetlands Loop Trail does not currently form a complete continuous loop. Nature-center programs have separate hours. Remain on authorized routes and leave wildlife and waterside vegetation undisturbed.
