Clinch Park opens onto West Grand Traverse Bay at Traverse City’s downtown waterfront.

Beach, paths and recreation facilities connect the public shoreline with the TART Trail and nearby municipal marina.
The photograph shows the beach during an earlier summer. Swimming conditions, concessions, splash-pad operation and restrooms vary with season; the waterscape normally closes after Labor Day. Leashed dogs are permitted in the park but not on the beach. Use authorized shoreline approaches, check current beach-monitoring and weather notices and confirm the facilities and accessibility suitable for your outing.
