- Lincoln City
D River State Recreation Site is a well-known oceanfront wayside in Lincoln City, Oregon, where the short D River reaches the Pacific.

The open beach setting is associated with kite flying and easy views along the central Oregon coast.
The photograph shows an earlier actual view at the wayside. Access may be limited during construction of the new Lincoln City Welcome Center through spring 2027; check current directions before relying on parking, restrooms or beach ramps. Use only open public access points and respect work barriers. Follow tide and surf conditions, keep children close near the river mouth and stay well back from incoming waves.
