Danbury Museum and Historical Society brings together historic buildings and collections on its Main Street campus.

The site provides several perspectives on local life, from domestic settings to the people and industries associated with the wider Danbury area.
Check the current tour and exhibition arrangements before traveling, since historic-building access can differ from visiting the main museum space. The photograph shows the John Rider House within the campus. Research appointments and group visits require separate planning. Allow time to understand each building’s story rather than expecting the whole collection to occupy one room.
