Tarrywile Park in Danbury combines wooded hills, fields and ponds with the landscaped setting around Tarrywile Mansion.
Its trail network supports a range of walks, with the historic estate adding another layer to the landscape.
Use the current park map to choose a route and check any access notices before setting out. The photograph shows the mansion, which is also an event venue; a public park visit does not guarantee entry inside the building. Respect private functions and restricted structures, and prepare for slopes and natural trail surfaces away from the lawns.
