Earthquake Park interprets the effects of Alaska's 1964 earthquake within a wooded Anchorage landscape.

Paths and displays connect the present setting with the dramatic movement of land during the disaster, giving physical meaning to an event often understood through photographs alone. Views and surrounding trails add interest beyond the interpretation itself.
Check current path and weather conditions before setting out. Follow designated routes and posted boundaries, allow time to read the displays, and wear footwear appropriate for an outdoor walk that may be wet or icy.
Visitor details reviewed October 17, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
