Eldean Covered Bridge crosses the Great Miami River north of Troy.

Its long timber enclosure preserves an important example of the Long truss system and offers a visible connection with nineteenth-century road engineering.
The photograph shows the bridge. Use designated public approaches and follow current vehicle and pedestrian restrictions; do not assume its historic road function determines present access. Stay clear of traffic and unsafe riverbanks and leave the timber undisturbed. Check Miami County visitor information for maintenance or event changes before planning a crossing.
