Twin Arch Reserve

Twin Arch Reserve follows the Great Miami River north of Troy and preserves stone culverts associated with the Miami and Erie Canal.

Twin Arch Reserve

The combination of river scenery, trails and canal engineering makes it useful for a short history walk as well as outdoor recreation.

Use the park district’s map to locate the arches and choose a permitted trail or river-access point. Check conditions after wet weather and confirm any arrangements for paddling or organized activities. The photograph shows the reserve’s canal-era landscape and lawn; the historic arches are part of a larger riverside property.
