Ellwood A. Mattson Lower Harbor Park provides public green space beside Marquette’s Lake Superior harbor.
The waterfront setting connects a casual outdoor stop with views of the city’s working and historic shoreline.
Check current local visitor information for access, events and any notices affecting the waterfront. The photograph shows the Coast Guard cutter Mackinaw visiting the park’s pier during an earlier period; the vessel is not a permanent park exhibit or guaranteed tour opportunity. Use designated public paths and keep clear of working dock areas. Organized events and boat-related access have separate arrangements.
