Marquette Harbor Lighthouse

Marquette Harbor Lighthouse stands on a rocky point above Lake Superior and remains a familiar marker of the city’s maritime landscape.

Its setting connects the harbor with the practical history of coastal navigation.
The photograph shows the lighthouse from the water, not an ordinary public walking approach. Check current guided access through the maritime museum before arriving. Grounds, interiors and operational areas have separate restrictions, and weather can affect tours. Stay on authorized routes and do not cross restricted property or exposed shoreline to reproduce the offshore view.
