Forest Park in Portland protects a large wooded landscape on the Tualatin Mountains’ eastern slopes.

Its connected trails, including sections of the Wildwood Trail, provide opportunities for short walks and more sustained hikes within the city.
Choose a specific entrance and distance using current park maps and trail conditions. The photograph shows an actual wooded Wildwood Trail setting. The network is extensive, so allow for elevation, changing surfaces and the return journey rather than treating the park as one short loop. Follow designated-route rules for walking and other activities, keep pets under the required control and respect restoration closures.
