Oak Hills Historic District preserves a planned postwar residential community in Washington County, Oregon.

Modern houses and a coordinated landscape reflect changing ideas about suburban living during the middle of the twentieth century.
The photograph shows the actual Oak Hills entrance sign. Explore the district’s architecture from public streets and permitted pedestrian routes using the National Register map. Shared lawns, recreation buildings and association facilities have their own access rules and should not be treated as a public park. Homes remain private. Respect residents’ privacy, avoid entering gardens and arrange any announced architecture tour independently.
