Greenmead Historical Park preserves a farm complex and relocated historic buildings in Livonia.

Its setting connects the city’s agricultural past with community traditions and the effort to save structures threatened at their original sites.
Check current tour and event schedules before expecting building interiors to be open. The photograph shows the Thomas Shaw House, one component of the historical village. Allow time to compare the buildings and their interpretation, rather than treating every structure as part of one original farm. Reserved facilities, special programs and ordinary grounds access have different arrangements.
